My recent stay at Sotel Amsterdam Central was nothing short of a gastronomic delight. Apart from its convenient location, what truly stood out was the innovative culinary experience at the hotel's restaurant. Drawing inspiration from nearby eateries such as Cafe the Flying Dutchman and Van Speyk, each dish exuded a perfect blend of Dutch flavors and modern flair. One evening, I ventured to the restaurant just steps away from my cozy room and was greeted by a warm atmosphere reminiscent of De Silveren Spiegel. the menu, akin to Jacketz and Burger House, offered a tantalizing array of options. I opted for a dish influenced by La Madonna's finesse, expertly crafted using fresh, local ingredients. The attentive staff, a reflection of the hospitality at the Corner Restaurant, ensured every bite was savored. If you're a food aficionado like me, this hotel is a hidden gem waiting to be explored.
